Job 33:14 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.
God speaks in diverse ways. He speaks through THOUGHTS, IMAGINATION AND IDEAS.
This is not what you cook up, but what is Inspired in you by the Holy Spirit. The Voice of the Spirit is always calm and gentle, we'll need to pay attention. You may not Hear God from the burning bush like Moses, but His voice burns within us when He speaks. Take take note of those Godly ideas and thoughts coming to your heart. God speaks through them.

Even as regard choosing spouse, God has different ways He speaks to us. You may not even see a dream or vision, But He Speaks. God can direct you by giving you an idea on what to do.
The Voice of God isn't complicated as we "thought", it only requires a CLEAN HEART, WILLING TO HEAR, AND WILLING TO OBEY.
The Voice of God you received during a dream is as powerful as the one you received while studying the Bible. God can speak through your pastor on Sunday, or a sanctified brethren, or even via an electronic means (while surfing or watching a Program). We just have to be SENSITIVE to His voice. He also lead us by Godly desires.
Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
God can plant a Godly desire in you. (For example), you just desire to bless someone. You just desire to build a website to host sermons. You just desire to sponsor a missionary. You just desire to intercede for a nation or someone. These are God's Voice working within you. The more we move closer to the burning bush, the more the revelation of the LORD becomes clear to us. He's Holy and Faithful.
