Distance Worship

Psalms  15:1 Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
To worship from a distance is not only when you walk miles to a church, or when you a plane to travelled out for a Sunday service. No. It is possible that we are in a church and our worship is Still in a distance to God. The Holy Spirit inspired that word to my heart with practical explanation to diagnose our Christian walk with God. It is good we come to church, but our heart isn't right with God. Our house can be close to church and our lives and service is far from God.

Isaiah  29:13  Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

Matthew  15:8  This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

It is possible that our church is decked with the best beautiful apparels, electrifying lightening, fully conditioned AC, organized instruments, beautiful chairs, high definition speakers and microphones, and so one. While this can be true, our heart and worship to God can be far from Him. It is liken to offering a strange fire in the temple. We can be in church and not in God. It is when our worship please God, that He comes down and Tabernacle with us, and our lives are transfomed.

John  4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.  4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

An ordinary mams definition of worship can be an available church system that can amplify the voice. We can sing and God's not there. God said, " this people thought they are worshipping Me, but their hearts isn't right with me". God is saying, Our heart first. Almost every Sunday we lift up "holy hand" of which most of our hands are unholy. The worship of a sinner is liken to the lifestyle of a pig, no one decorate a pig unless it is washed and clean. Most time we gather and none is transfomed because our worship is far from God. Closeness to the altar does not mean closeness to God.

Romans  8:8  So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
I'm afraid God isn't pleased, when we gather and there's no room for His presence because our heart is far from Him. Judas was with Christ, yet his heart was still far from Him. Let's get our heart right before the Lord, so that when call, He will respond and our lives will be transformed.

Psalms  22:3  But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

Are you His people? A chosen of His? Washed and sanctified by the blood of Jesus? God hears the worship of a sinner afar of. Make reconciliation with God today, if you are yet to give your life to Christ. He's waiting for you.

Blessed?
