SPIRITUAL JOURNALING (Part Two)

What is Spiritual Journaling

Spiritual Journaling isn't as difficult as you're thinking. It is just an act of Writing down, your Spiritual Experiences, encounters, and instructions as you walk with God. And there's nothing wrong with it. It is not to make it superior to the scripture.

Journaling from the word "Journey" and "Journal"

1. JOURNEY as to do with Traveling or our movement with the Lord. As you journey with God, you must learn how to Write down, hence you'll forget or weep bitterly when you need it. So, it means, AN ACT OF RECORDING YOUR SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE AS YOU JOURNEY WITH GOD.

2. JOURNAL

Verb (Dictionary)

journal (journals, present participle journaling; past and past participle journaled)

"To archive or record something."

So, a journal is a scrapbook used for collecting data from its user.

The difference is because we add Spiritual to our topic which makes it more interesting. Lol.

I've been actively writing for many years now. I note down some instructions, Prophecy or Vision or dreams, or an instance from the word of God. It is good to write down as it will help you to reflect and give thanks for God's Faithfulness.

TWO SIDE OF SPIRITUAL JOURNALING

1. PERSONAL WRITING

This is an act of Writing that talks to you or reminds you. It could be a personal Prophecy or personal instructions. Everything is just about you and it is Private.

2. GLOBAL VIEW

This is an act of Writing with "many people" in view. It could be Vision concerning your family or a location or a nation. It could be a warning against a particular country. Hence, it is not about you but a generation.
