Trading your Talent

Trading your Talent

.

No one stands out distinctively by following the crowd. When I mean "crowd, I don't mean your "circle".

.

Distinctiveness is not achieved by being a copycat. The sheep will only "hear" the voice of their shepherd. If you have found your call, the response you'll hear will be the sheep that has been prepared.

.

Following your circle means that you have a group of people that you share common goal and they inspired you to become a better version of yourself. While following the crowd is a wandering adventure.

.

Everyone wants to copy anything without counting the ripple effects. God made only one of you, and He made you fearfully. A coconut tree cannot be like an apple tree. Their gestation, fruit, and lifespan are different.

.

You don't need to sing like Min, Nathaniel Bassey, or Mercy Chinwo; you just need to discover yourself. Be who God has called you and your audience will respond.

.

Not everyone will speak gently like Daddy Adeboye; the charisma of character is different. Be you. Embrace you!

.

Not everyone will sing a chant or solemnly worship; there are different genres of music. You just need to find your horn in Christ. What you should pursue is God's template for your life and the principles He has laid down to drive you to your goal.

.

In the market of trading talent, allow the Holy Spirit to be the director. There are many gifts in the Kingdom. Why belittle the potentials of the King of Kings?

.

Psalm 16:11 KJV

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: In thy presence is fulness of joy; At thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

.

Find your talent in His pleasures.

Trade it for the Lord.

The King is coming to reward!
