Smoke doesn't just appear without the existence of a fire. And smoke can only disappear when fire is lit. The wineskin lost its visibility from men, such a wineskin will remain forever unless there's an intervention.
God's intention is not to hide in the smoke, but to be seen as a "city on a hill". No man light a candle and put it under the bed, it will cause another havoc, but it is best placed on its stand where it distribute light to others. Everyone has their place of function. Everyone has their stand. Once you know your stand, stay there and shine the light.
