Thou Art Loosed (Your Total Freedom)

Thou Art Loosed

***

“And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, ‘Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.’”

(Luke 13:12, KJV)

When you buy a goat, you put a rope round its neck and tie it to a spot to secure it. The freedom of the goat doesn’t exceed the limit of the rope. Peradventure you leave the goat at that spot for two weeks, the goat begins to believe it was made to live that way. The day you eventually remove the rope from its neck, it won’t know it has been loosed.

The miracles of Jesus weren’t limited to certain types or restricted to a certain class of people. Everything Jesus did on the cross was a complete package, and includes everything the mind can conceive; "...For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8b; John 19:30).

Through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, we’ve received authority and power on a platter of gold. We are no longer held bound by limitations - we’ve been set free, we are loosed! Some people believe God can only heal sicknesses, He doesn’t heal emotions or mental issues - that’s a lie of the devil. Jesus has loosed you from every chain. It doesn’t matter if they are spiritual, academic, financial, emotional, mental, marital, or generational chains - thou art loosed!

"And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, ‘Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God’” (Luke 13:11-‬13, KJV).

From this scripture we know that bondage of any kind isn't God's will. Imagine a woman being held bound for 18 years. That must have been a hell of suffering and pain, but guess what? The woman was LOOSED when Jesus stepped in.

When He said: “THOU ART LOOSED”, it wasn’t a bargain, it was a declaration of what has being perfected. "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross” (Colossians 2:14, KJV).

To anyone reading this, I decree and declare that thou art loosed in Jesus name!

Instruments of our Freedom:

1. The name of Jesus

“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:10 -‬11, KJV)

2. The blood of Jesus

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” (Revelation 12:11, KJV)

3. The word of God

"And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” (Ephesians 6:17, KJV)

4. The anointing (and more)

"And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing” (Isaiah 10:27, KJV).
