Some believers practice intellectualism.
There are people who read the scripture with their own Intellect and not taught by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Author of the Word. He's the only Agency that has the accurate interpretation. Most times, People read the scripture without His help, that's the reason for some gap in the Body of Christ.
These set of Believers take Spiritual things with less seriousness and take some Important things for joke. They are so full of English and synonyms that they forget the School of the Spirit is beyond English or what you learnt in school. That's why they lack certain manifestation of the Kingdom, because through their words they denied that access. They are so full of knowledge but they can't transmit Spiritual Realities.
They read every Spiritual things with carnal knowledge and mock even other Believers who knows what is right. That's why God is by passing many people and cling to those who are aligned. Many people take God's word for granted because they went to Harvard University or possibly because of a Highly Influencing Position or because He's a professor of English. The Word of God has been before you exist.
The scripture is beyond English, it is a reality of a God who is Supreme. There are many things you won't learn by English or even on Sunday but you'll be taught as you walk with the Holy Spirit. Even though some of the Early Apostles weren't learned according to Academics, yet they command Kings of Nations to Kneel before God.
God's Power and Grace is real. God Is Alive. Don't let anyone make you doubt that. In the true face of Kingdom Work, intellect doesn't win. You'll lose the Kingdom essence if you stay in intellectualism, because many of God's Instructions will not produce fruit. The ways of our Father, we're not logical but Obedient to the dictate of God.
What can you say to five loaves and two fishes for 5000 People? Is that English? This is the Kingdom of God in Operation.
1 Corinthians 4:20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
See, don't let social media make you take God with levity or take His Word for play. Social media is a medium for anything.
