(....the Love Organ)
Ecclesiastes 2:10 And whatsoever mine eyes desired I kept not from them, I withheld not my heart from any joy; for my heart rejoiced in all my labour: and this was my portion of all my labour.
The heart is a Love Organ. It can love anything. What we expose our heart to consciously or unconsciously will determine the product of character. That's why we're encouraged to Guard our heart.
Ambition, lust and desire for fame can crept in if our heart is not guarded. Envy, bitterness and jealousy can become the determinant of our actions if it is not checked out. A man can began to love money and success at the expense of his Relationship with God. They are all rooted in the heart.
Deuteronomy 11:1 Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway.
The first person that deserve our heart is God. He's the KING and Our Maker. Our love is to Him first. We cannot love God and love the World. Because the operation of the world is at variance with God. So check what you love. What occupies your heart? What is your affection?
James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
The thoughts of men are products of this heart, including his character, words and imaginations. We can keep our heart Pure by seeking the Lord for help. The Holy Spirit helps us to seek that which is from God and to keep His Word. Many things are contending to occupy our heart, but the scripture is our base for judgement. The heart is best secure if it is wired with the word of God.

Father, we ask that you Purge our hearts from every uncleanness and Workings of Mammon in Jesus Name.
