Many people live under the pretense of "salvation" whereas they haven't come to the Lord. They have this set of believe that, you are saved without not receiving Him. There mentality is that, "Jesus did it all, Hallelujah" without not an encounter with Him that you surrender your life to Him. It is one thing to claim the Scriptures, the story of salvation. I mean how God sent His Only begotten Son, it is another thing to believe it and receive Him. The gap and only ticket to eternity with God is through salvation in Christ Jesus.
Many people will be surprise on that day, that they don't really know Him, but were being religious. Look at the verse.
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
The point is receiving.
You have to receive Jesus into your heart, not just because you a pastor child or because you read Him in the Bible but because the Revelation of who He is is born in your spirit man, and you see the Ernest reason why you can't do without Him, either in this world or the one to come.
I'm writing to you to check Your salvation. Don't patch things, there's no time. Cross Check Your life and see if truly the Spirit of God is in you.
Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
The authenticity of Your salvation is by the presence of the Holy Spirit in Your life. You can't have the Spirit of God and live like the world. No! Your thoughts and desire are set on heavenly course. You are no longer minding things of the world but of God. Sir, it is either you are saved or not. It is either you are in Christ or outside. It is either you are Born Again or not. You can't be on the fence.
Finally,
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Here's the way out!
Confess Him as Lord, and also believe. He's nigh you right now. He's waiting to hear from you.
Don't hide under " God don't sinners to perish" and continue living a life out of God's pattern. Today is the day of salvation. Don't let it pass you by.
