1 Corinthians 12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
The Holy Spirit dropped that Word upon my spirit not quite long. It was a powerful word I had to design it as a quote. Someone might asked, how is someone's gift a tool for evangelism. Everything God created speaks about Him. According to the above verse, any gift you have is meant to draw people Christ and testify of His existence. All gifts comes from God. It becomes corrupted for use because of the sin of man in man, unless he reconcile with God through Jesus. The gifts isn't just for yourself, it is for the edification of others, in right sense of winning them. Do you think your skills is just without reason? There's a reason why God gave you that talent, that gifts. Use your gifts to the glory of God. If you are a tailor, design clothes in such a way that will make people draw close to God and not run from Him, by sewing exposed and immoral clothes. If you are a writer, write things that will draw people to the knowledge of the cross. If you are graphics designer, design things handbills, fillers that preaches the gospel.
Those gifts isn't yours, it's God's. Therefore, we must allow Him to be glorified in things He gave us. God want us to be fruitful, not just in money alone, but to eat of the vine.
2 Timothy 2:6 The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.
The Bible says, even creations speaks about the glory of God. Mere looking at the creations, you will marvel about God's greatness, they sang to our ears that there's a Redeemer. Some of them remind us of hope. To the fact that, even The Lord Jesus refers that " Doth not nature teaches you?"
1 Corinthians 11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
If nature can speak, speaking things that draws men attention to God, how much we humans. Jesus is the Lion of Judah. He is the Rose of Sharon. When you see a lion you will remember that you have a savior who is the Lion of Judah. They speaks about the indisputable greatness and acts of God. That's why those who don't believe God exist, God says they are fools.
Psalms 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Because, everything around us speaks about Him. How much more we, created and crafted in the very Image of God.? Our giftings must speaks about Christ to others, showing Him everywhere we go. Our gifts must be a seed that win souls.
Romans 12:6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
12:7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
12:8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
We have different gifts, it has one main purpose, to win souls. If you are the president, you have the enablement to draw masses to Christ. As an artist, draw something that testifies about Christ. These things cost not. Your gifts isn't for you, but for others, therefore it is a package of light, because God is light. And light give room for others to come in. It give directions and clearity for men. Therefore, your gift must be a stumbling stone but a lifting Rock.
