No doubt your generation will reckoned with you if you have something to offer. If you want to remain in the heart of men after you've gone, focus on creating impact by living your purpose. For a man not to be a liability on the existence of time, he must find his voice by living in the place his passion puts him. No one is born to be a liability. Our only liability is to depend on God, not on man or the existence of nature. A poor man is poor because he had nothing to contribute to his world, even his own family will leave him. You have something your world needed, they will look for you anywhere you are in the world. A man can also be poor not because he lacked resources but because he haven't find his place in life, where greatness is waiting for him. The world isn't looking for people to create liability but those who can solve it's problems. If you can solve a problem, you be definitely be rewarded. When a man's placement in the market of passion is unknown, he will keep roaming about looking for where to hide, whereas hes meant to create shelter for others. God place so much demand on the gifts He had given us.
The benefits is not for show, nor "just for store up", but to be implemented. The gifts has problems to solved on Earth not in heaven that is why God loads us differently to be a constructor in our generation- a co-worker with God. The reason why the profitable servant was punished was because he fail to understand how valuable and important the Master's talents were. The others were commended for their acts of starting even small. The one with two strive to get more. It is not a matter of quantity. Whatever is our gift no matter how small, it can produce 100 seeds.
Matthew 25:18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.
25:25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
25:26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
25:28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
To find your place in life and not to be a slave of time not a liability on anybody, it starts with things that interest you, your passion. Passion is a pointer to the reality of purpose. I wrote a little PDF beginning of this year, and and also in Doc file titled " The Journey Into Self Discovery Of Purpose"; the aim of this book was to create a guide on how to discover our purpose and to arouse in us the urgency of fulfilling purpose, and how much God place on our existence. The unprofitable servant was punished because he wasted God's investment. Don't be like that. The next thing is, what is your talent? No doubt, writing is a gift from God. By exercising it, God is glorified and humanity is blessed. By fulfilling our purpose, we are simply telling God " I won't waste your resources". By this, we understand the reason why God send us to this world and kept us alive up until now.
1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
2 Corinthians 6:1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
The master was angry when He comes back and discover a servant didn't invest his gifts, remember the same servant was been fed by the Master's provision. That means he wasted the Master's provision and protection. Dear, don't waste God's grace. He invest on you.
A proper revelation of who you are can't be revealed without the help of The Holy Spirit. Cultivate time with the Holy Spirit. Pray to God to reveal what He's call you to do and where He has placed you. Pray for proper revelation that will guide your placement in life, and you will soon become great.
1 Corinthians 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
The world only reckoned with men who has something to offer. Many are out there chasing dollars, meanwhile purpose before profit. God purposely created us to implement our world positively. He had formed the world, He left the work for us to replenish it. Find your place of passion, as the Holy Spirit guides, stay and be focused, cos that is where your greatness lies.
Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
