Alpha Omega

When God told the Israelites not to demand a King prematurely, you'll think God didn't want the "good" for them.

But, He's the Alpha Omega.

First, imagine, in our world today, we have a country where there's no president per se. Just a few people who listen to God. Do you get that? Right. God was guiding them to avoid being influenced by the culture of other nations. 

Today, many nations are affected by some demonic Western and internal civilisations. When nations borrow money or partner with other nations, you copy their culture and style too. Look at many nonsensical ideologies on display today.

God simply want Isreal to focus on Him, not because He didn't want them to have a human King. He didn't want them to be corrupted. Today, the church is being polluted with the strange fire of demonic alliances and cultures that are against the scriptures. 

God just wants us to stay with Him. Don't look to Egypt for help.

The Old Testament is the skeleton for the New Testament, and without it, you won't understand the work of the New Testament. One of the significant objects in the OT is the Ark of the Covenant. It is Holy and kept in the most holy place.

Nothing impure or dirty must touch it, not even for a millisecond. You know how God dealt with people who disobeyed.

In the NT, that ark is now our physical body because God now dwells in us when you're born again.

So, just as the Ark was Holy in the OT, our body is meant to be Holy. 

1 Corinthians 6:13b KJV

Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

Your body is now for the Lord. You're a mobile Ark, a mobile Altar, and a Wheel of God's possibilities. Think of how God treated the Art in the OT and put yourself under the same conditions.
