FINDING FULFILLMENT
Judges 12:8 And after him Ibzan of Bethlehem judged Israel.
12:9 And he had thirty sons, and thirty daughters, whom he sent abroad, and took in thirty daughters from abroad for his sons. And he judged Israel seven years.
12:13 And after him Abdon the son of Hillel, a Pirathonite, judged Israel. 12:14 And he had forty sons and thirty nephews, that rode on threescore and ten ass colts: and he judged Israel eight years.
True and lasting fulfillment is found in Jesus. You were created for a purpose. When the book of records was open, the only achievement some people have was giving birth to "sons and daughters". They build houses and all. Beyond these things, there's more on the heart of God for you and me.
Am I created for marriage alone? Is there more to my life than just eating and drinking? Is there more to life than just partying?
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
What is Destiny?
'Destiny is partnering with God to do of His Good pleasures. God has a need to be met, and He created you to fulfill it. In this partnership, your true living is found. You cannot fulfill destiny outside God. The script of what you’re to do (purpose) is with Him. You need to surrender and submit to the will of God ".
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1vs5 NKJV)
God has a need, and He sent you to do it. God is running a Kingdom- of righteousness. He made each of us a vessel of His Greatness. Thus, life is more than just eating and sleeping. Have you found out your purpose? Have you sought the Lord to make known to you your destiny? No one lives on this planet Earth forever, only God reigns forever. Thus, we all have a time frame - known only by God. We must have a sense of urgency to do the work of the Lord.
Methuselah lived close to a millennium.
Genesis 5:26 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
5:27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
Your purpose is more than your job. It is more than just getting married. Marriage, job and all become sweet when Purpose is in view. Have you discovered yourself? Did you think you exist just to have all the academic accolades in this world only? Do you think you exist just to get married, have children and remain dormant? No!
You're made for more.
Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come— In the volume of the book it is written of Me— To do Your will, O God.’ ” (Hebrew 10vs7 NKJV)
The Lord who made you has your templates in His hand. He has your life calendar in His hands. If you'll seek the Lord, He'll make know His ways unto you!
Let these writings drive you to ask God, "Open my eyes, that I may see". Then, you'll begin to walk on the path of true fulfillment.
God wants to use you!
