Having Authority (Part Three)

Job  22:28  Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

Before the Lord Jesus ascended, He said "I have given you power over.....". Which means, I have given you the enablement to enforce an authority. The power is given, but it takes authority to drive it. An average believer will quote that scripture, but there's more to quoting, you must activate that verse with revelation so that your authority will be fully wielded. 

The difference between power and authority is that, authority helps you to have what your power can do. It is not only by anointing, you'll need a level of authority to enforce and legislate on behalf of God. If you have risen to that height of legislating things in the spirit, you have gain a level of stature with God. We have much anointed people but we need more men of authority.

"Papa Benson Idahosa, can gather witches to contest because he has a level of authority to make known the power of God."

In territorial functions, anointing is imparted but you'll need a level of authority to drive your assignment. Every kingdom has a force of authority, but that of God is supreme. A man can hear a voice saying, "go and jump inside the river with no reason, and off he did." An authority was involved. It takes authority to contend. The disciples have been binding and loosing a demon until Jesus came, with one word the demon left. They marveled. 

When the Lord commission them to preach, He said "I've given you power to tred upon serpent....", and they came back rejoicing, because an authority was involved. Spiritual authority isn't a function of age, it is first a function of surrendering to Christ. He's the Ultimate. Many pastors can be invited to a program and their level of dominance is different. That's why, in this kingdom our job is to protect one another, until we measure up!

A man that has authority is not known by look, but he has a rank in the Spirit. A man of authority is not known by suits, he's known by stature of what he has become. Christ is deep, the level to which you dig, is the extent to which you can make a voice. In 5years to come, 10 believers will not be the same, base on their level of growth and the extent to which they have walked with God to able to wield authority!

Walking with God is real business. Child crawl, but sons walk with Him. If you are not walking then you are crawling. But if you have risen to the age of walking and yet you crawl, its time to receive strength to walk, because God wants to send you an errand. Many believers are fed wrongly, they are not growing, how can they become a territorial ambassador for the Kingdom of God? 

It is time to grow up, having authority to make change happen on behalf of God.
