DIFFERENT STYLES, SAME SPIRIT

1Cor12vs6-7

And there are distinctive varieties of operation [of working to accomplish things], but it is the same God Who inspires and energizes them all in all. Vs6 (AMP)

KJV:But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. Vs 7 (KJV)

The move of the Spirit has never been by men's personality but their ability to surrender their heart to Him. Most times, we focus much more on a preacher, who has the loudest charisma, and neglect a man who is a slow worker. It is not by noise, it is by proof. Most times, Good contents might not come in a pleasing package, that's why the Bible says, God's power resides in us (the earthen vessels). You don't know a man who carry God by how much he can scattered a place or how much he can make noise. No!  But how much, he has surrender to the Holy Spirit for His use.

OUR PERSONALITIES

God wired us differently, but His presence never change. We are different from each other according to human nature. It has been discovered that temperaments of each of us, tends to direct our lives, moods and reactions a times. God made us that way,  for us to complement each other. On a side, a man can be friendly, while some can be easy going. It has been designed by God. Much more when we received the new life, the part of the nature / character never seems to leave. It is an inbuilt system. This is not old men's nature, but Styles that makes us different in person.

DIFFERENT SYTLES

Great men of God has walked through this sand, some legacy they left behind was not by their personalities but in the power of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit can work through our personalities, it doesn't stop Him. It is good to know that, every Man of God has different Styles, this is different from the working of the Anointing.

The anointing is the difference.

You can't compare Deacon Philip to Pst Timothy. They are of different styles. One can be  cool calm, while one is full of charisma. It doesn't stop the anointing. Some while speaking might look aggressive, while some can be gentle. It doesn't reduce the anointing. What matters is the Presence of God. If we look at people by the way they do we might not fully get the blessings we needed. The Spiritual growth and conformity of a man to the person of Christ is the key!

THE SAME HOLY SPIRIT.

When God calls a man, He equip us and gave us gift according to the ministry He has given us. God moves in different directions and dimensions. It is not the noise that counts, but the Voice speaking within a man.  You can be cool and collected, yet powerful within. You can be full of charisma and demonstrations and there's no fire.

And those whom He thus foreordained, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified (acquitted, made righteous, putting them into right standing with Himself). And those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being].

Roman 8vs30 (AMP)

With all thy gettings, get acquainted with the Holy Spirit. What makes a successful ministry is God, not how blended my charisma is. Charisma can't cast out demons, can't heal the sick, can't raise the dead, can't win souls. However, the Holy Spirit make use of everything in life for His glory when all things is surrendered to Him.

FINALLY

Know yourself. Be who you are, and don't try to copy. What people wants to see is God, not your charisma. If you are an easy going person, it's fine. If you are full of charisma, it's fine. Both of them without the Holy Spirit is nothing. Respect other ministers of God. But know your strength. Don't try to be what you are not. Apostle Paul is different from Apostle Peter. The apostles were different in nature but they had the Same Holy Spirit of God. They work in their measures, and not compete with each others.

That's why Apostle Paul said,

"Those who compare themselves are termed as fools".

Let us work in the dimensions and capacity given to us. Work in your calling, and fulfill to the name of the Lord. Everyone one of us will give accounts to the Lord.

The Same Holy Spirit!

"Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;" Rom 12vs7

God bless you!
