Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
To transform means to change something to a better position or outcome. To conform is to adhere or surrender to rules and and system of an existing protocol either good or bad. From the Bible passage, we understand that two things are involved. (1) The World (2) God. Of which the two never correlate. For us not to be like the world, we are told to renew our mind daily with the word of God. The world is a realm of disobedient and rebellion against God's leadership. Anyone operating under the system of the world is under God's judgment. As Christians we are the light of the world. Our mission is to transform this world not to conform to it.
1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
The Lord Jesus gave us a description of what is going to happen in the last days, of which ungodliness and wickedness of men will increase. Where hatred, evil and corruption is on the roll. In a world where love is scarce, where peace is wanting, where truth is missing. Our banner remains LIGHT. We are transformers not conformers. If we conform to it, we can't transform them. Evil and evil cannot bring a good. Light and darkness are sharp enemy.
We know that is world is passing away, only the transformers will stand. On any standard, either at work, school or in society. The Word of God remains our guide. The Lord told us not to be unequally yoked with darkness.
Pornography, homosexuality, masturbation, lesbian, Gay marriage, Changing figures at work, lying, adultery, Corruption, rituals, idolatry and wicked practices, are example of worldly system.
The Bible say " The judgment of God is coming upon those who practice these things"
Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

How can we transformed this world for righteousness when we are conforming to its standard. The process of losing one's sweetness as a Christian comes when we are conforming to the world's standard instead of correcting and rebuking them.
We are called to transform not to conform.
Lord help to renew my mind by your word everyday. Help me not to conform to the world and its system. Keep me in your love forever in Jesus Name.
