Men God Use

1 Samuel  16:12 And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.

It has Been said " God doesn't called the qualify, He qualified the called". If God could bypass a "rich folk" who had everything to push the calling, and come down to your doorstep to choose you, meanwhile you could barely eat 3 square meal per day! There are people who are far better than David in all area, but God didn't chose them. God doesn't look at the size or the pocket of men, He looks at the heart. It is those whom God had prepared that He called.

1. Peter was an ordinary fisherman, whom God used to shake kingdom. The Lord Jesus carefully selected His disciples. The unlearned, Poor and incompetent. He didn't go to the rich who can run the wheel of His ministry. It was evident to the people that they were unlearned, yet they can't deny the power that flow through them, healing the sick and raising the death.

Acts 4:13   Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

The King of Kings was pleased to relate with men of low degree, so that He can lift them up. Even though, they were unlearned, the world celebrates them. The Lord knows why He chooses us, despite our inadequacies, lack, and full of anxieties.

2. Moses was a common man, who was sore afraid to face Pharaoh (a great heathen king), but when he met with the I AM, he was encouraged and empowered. God uses ordinary men to accomplished extraordinary things. ( Exo 3). It is not about skillful you are, nor the possession you have, nor the level of academic attainment. Can anyone stop God? Surely, Not! He seat in Heaven and do whatsoever He pleases.

Psalms 115:3   But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.

3. Jephthah was a child born to an harlot. Due to his birth circumstances, he has not share in the true sons of the family. He was denied his privilege and was thrust out of the house. When God came, He picked Him, mould him and used him to wrought great deliverance for Israel.

Judges  11:1 Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty man of valour, and he was the son of an harlot: and Gilead begat Jephthah.

11:2 And Gilead's wife bare him sons; and his wife's sons grew up, and they thrust out Jephthah, and said unto him, Thou shalt not inherit in our father's house; for thou art the son of a strange woman.

11:6 And they said unto Jephthah, Come, and be our captain, that we may fight with the children of Ammon.

11:7 And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, Did not ye hate me, and expel me out of my father's house? and why are ye come unto me now when ye are in distress?

11:21 And the LORD God of Israel delivered Sihon and all his people into the hand of Israel, and they smote them: so Israel possessed all the land of the Amorites, the inhabitants of that country.

It doesn't matter your background, it is about God. He can change an hopeless situation in a moment.

4. Gideon. A fearful, worried and a timid folk. Who had low self esteem. A poor man from the least tribe. When God came, He was strengthened, and great deliverance was given to Israel.
It doesn't matter if your family is so poor, If God has chosen you are the one to lift up your Family! ( jug 6)

1 Samuel  2:7 The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.

2:8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the world upon them.

5. David. Nothing qualified David for being chosen, because he had elder brothers, not beautiful in appearance, always with the sheep, the last born. When God comes, He picked Him, mould him and make a great king, the Grand father of our Lord Jesus, that's what God can do. God doesn't chose base on your background, education level, nor your position and your eloquence. He calls us forth what He's made us to be. During the wilderness experience of David, he had companions, who are called VAIN MEN, but when David got to the throne, they were promoted. They are vain, but make them a substance.

Are You Chosen?

1 Corinthians 1:27   But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

Possibly, God is calling you and you are looking down on yourself, its about you, its about what Jesus wants to you for. Or probably, you are afraid to start that ministry because of lack of adequate provisions or children care. Though, the journey isn't smooth at first, but the reward is great in the end.

Or you are, timid and fearful, or you consider too small to use or not perfect. Think of Timothy and Jeremiah who are used by God while still young. Cheer up!

God doesn't look for perfection, He perfects us. He's not telling us to win it by our strength. Let yourself available to God's use in this end time, His strength is made perfect in our weakness.

Shalom!
