Overcoming Fear

OVERCOMING FEAR

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, of love, and of a sound mind"

- 2Tim 1vs7

What do you do when the enemy rages? How do react when the enemies throw you a word? Do you panicked or just wave up hand in surrender? Nay! Fear is real, no doubt. Every great and outstanding achievement have encountered the storm of fear, but prevails. That moment when your child brings up the price list of school fee. Or when the landlord gives you a quite notice, you'd be afraid. Our Lord Jesus knows this, He said" Don't worry about, what to eat, the cloth or shelter. Tomorrow will take care of itself."

FEAR TAKES DIFFERENT FORMS

* Fear of the future.
God is already there.

* Fear of success.
Daniel was a successful man, why shouldn't I?

* Fear of failure.
Every failure has one lesson or the other to make us, fit to challenge again.

We all had a fear in one aspect or the other. Yours might be when you are taking on a new business.
Fear has nothing to do than to paralyzed faith, and make us feel miserable. Fear Has nothing good to solve, it only compound problems. Many gifts and talents have been hidden because of fear. Many great vessels, had withdrawal because of fear. I won't mince word, Fear is real. But God say, Don't be afraid. Even though I know things around me aren't working, I won't be afraid. Prophet Elijah, after successful victory over the prophets of Baal, he was afraid because of Jezebel's words. Our God is a loving Father, He calmed Him. After His encounter with God on the mountain, He became bold and he finished well.

If you want to finish well, in whatever you lay your hand to, don't look at it. Our perspective must tune to Go's own. The disciples saw fear, but The LORD Jesus calm the storm.

Says" O Ye, of little faith"

Yours Might be Fear of enemy.

“Ye are of God, little children and have overcome them, because greater is He who is in you, than He who is in the world"
- 1 john 4vs4

The Israelites were in that fear, when an heathen king threatens to take them captive. They were afraid and waiting for what will befall them. King Hezekiah, arose and speak unto them, the courageous word of Faith to trust in the LORD. They trust in gods, idols that cannot save, but we trust in God, who can kill and still make alive. Hallelujah!

32:7 be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him:

32:8 with him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

2 Chronicles 32vs7-8

Do not fear the enemy. Jesus has won on our behalf. Our God is greater than our foes. Every of our fear, should respond to the cross.

The Bible says, “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God, to the pulling down of stronghold"

Beloved, Victory is ours! Amen.
Don't be scared by what the enemies do. Stand firm in; prayer and in faith. The blood of JESUS has given us victory over the enemy, we overcame!

The name of JESUS is our weapon of warfare. The word of God is our weapon of warfare. God told Jeremiah, though, the enemy may encamp but they won't prevail against thee, for I'm with you!

One the reason why you should not fear the enemy is because, God is with you, and He HD given us the right weapons to fight them. So, why panicked?

"That at the Name of JESUS, every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth"
- Philippians 2vs10

"And they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee, for I am with thee, saith The LORD, to deliver thee"
- Jeremiah 1vs19

Beloved, be encouraged.
Greater is He who lives in you than the brags of the enemies without. Our God is with us.

Amen
