5:4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
Attitude controls everything we do. In speech, the relationship and how we respond to daily issues. Leadership is controlled by the attitude of the leader. Attitude determines whether the follower will bless the leader for his impact or for his atrocities. Nothing encourages a follower to keep on following their leader than his attitude toward them. Why some can be bossy, authoritative, and merciless. They vanished upon the steam of breath. Creating impact that lasts starts from attitudinal formation. The way a follower is will tell how he's been with his leader. Many thought leadership is something so big, restricted to some folks. No. Each of us is a leader. A father is the leader of his home. A firstborn is the leader of others (in age).
Genuine service is being done with the heart of love. A leader who love his followers will be ready to do all for them, just to see them successful. Our example is our Lord Jesus.
Luke 22:26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
Luke 22:27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.
The beginning of corruption started with attitude, the in born nature. In a country where this disease had eaten so well, everyone who sees the leadership post, think it is a place to loot. It starts with attitude also.
By my emphasis, is that true leadership compromises of Love and care for each other. It calls his followers, to know how they're doing. It render assistance to them to show it's concern.

A Granny begs me to run an errand for her, which causes me to sweat. After the errand, she gave me a certain token. I appreciate her. During the week, she called me, thanking me for the help, asking how I am doing. I was amazed, and the scenario touched me to make write this up.

Even though she can send me errand without giving me anything, she still took time to call. It is the heart of a leader. A leader doesn't think of " I used him"; he thinks "he assisted me". When people see that, they are being complimented rather than feel used, it spurs them to keep following. The Lord Jesus, after preaching, made sure the listeners found something to eat. He took time with them. He likened them to a sheep that was lost, and the shepherd went all the way to look for them.
To really make an edible impact upon the heart of men, be ready to love, care for them and fine tune your attitude positively. Everybody wants to be loved, when they are loved, they be like a sheep gently resting on the shoulder of the shepherd.
What ever your position of leadership, at work, at school, at church, at the community, at home, at the field. Learn the leadership success trail, which is loving, caring and good attitude, you won't fail as the head. We talked about Martin Luther King today, because he served selflessly as a leader.
What will people remember you for?
Leadership is not to dominate, but to demonstrate- love, care, and a good attitude.
God bless you.
