Building Confidence

The simple ways are often overlooked.

Being an introvert added shyness to the package. It was a tough battle while growing up. But sooner, things change. I look back and see how God has helped me to gain confidence over the years.

But it starts with the first step. The first easy step

Being confident is a bonus to your personality, your brand, and your relationships.

King Saul allowed timidity and went to hide. On the day of his glorification, he was nowhere to be found. Timidity happened. But he was rescued. Probably, you're like King Saul; many opportunities have bypassed you because you feel less of yourself, and you don't know what to do.

Let's start with the first step.

The First Step: Anytime you're in the midst of people and they open the room for questions, raise your hand. You might be shy at first, but do it. Soon, you'll be looking at their faces.

Volunteer for the competition. Be where you know you'll be able to interact with people. Communicate and exchange pleasantries. You're building your mindset gradually.

Speak during bible study. Drop your suggestions. Ask questions during manifestos. Believe me, gradually, you’ll be glad you did. Those little moments are building blocks of confidence.
