STAY IN YOUR LOT

2 Chronicles  34:18 Then Shaphan the scribe told the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest hath given me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king.

34:21 Go, enquire of the LORD for me, and for them that are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that is found: for great is the wrath of the LORD that is poured out upon us, because our fathers have not kept the word of the LORD, to do after all that is written in this book.

As long as we have different gifts, so therefore our calling and the place of function, which determines the kind of offices we operate from. It is therefore good and mature that we firstly, understand our allocation and then stay within the sphere of our calling. If all of us were eyes, where would be the leg. God gifted us differently and make us to function in different offices, because of the assignment that is needed at a particular time in the body of Christ. Everyone will not hold microphone, everyone cannot be on the pulpit, once we understand our allocation it won't be a problem.

When the apostle were to  attend to the increase of believers in their time and for their welfare, they choose people who are gifted and filled with the Holy Spirit to serve in that order. Some for the kitchen, some for the field. They understood, with cooperation and no Envy or Jealousy.
Competition doesn't make you better, but knowing your value is. According to the Bible text above, somebody who was the priest found the law, he gave it to someone to read, when the king need more spiritual information, they went to the prophetess.

The people understood their mode of offices, there's no need to get envy, because someone is actually doing one or two things. No man is without gift. Staying in what you have makes you better and different. There was a time David went to battle with some men, and the rest stayed to supervise and because they are tired. When they returned the others said, "they have no part in the share that we brought", and David intervene with wisdom. Those who are at home deserves also people who went to battle. They couldn't go because they are tired not because they are lazy!

1 Corinthians  12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
12:5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
12:6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
12:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

Frustration can emerge when you are trying to do or be what you aren't. Hypertension also can set in. If you can't Chant, sing, not everyone are gifted the same. Just as the process of our physical birth is different.  We are born differently, and with different gender.
Someone is a priest, someone is a prophet, someone works as a secretary.

There's division of labour,  and everyone understands his lot. There's no need for envy!
1. Know Your Lot.
Know your gift, your calling, then follow it.
2. Stay with it.
Practice make perfect. And there's joy in being who you are. There's no reason for envy in the body of Christ.

Same God
Same Lord
Same Spirit
Same focus (Heaven)

Stay in your Calling, once you know your lot!

You are unique, beautiful and different.

God bless you.
