Rev 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
There are so many characteristics we can derived from a lion. Even though they aren't big like elephant yet they are king in their own empire. They are not Long necked like giraffes yet they are smart in getting their prey. They don't struggle to be like other animal, they retain their honour by being "a lion".
In the family of lions there's love, equality and a sense of responsibility. The lioness her role to go hunting and get food for home.
Our Lord Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Judah. We are part of His family, provided we are Born again. He protect us from the threat of the enemies. We are significant and not intimidated.
1. Lions are bold.
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" 1 Tim 1vs7.
Right from old testament, the word 'do not fear' has the been the word of our God to His children, even as we pass through the waters of life. We are build with the immune of boldness against any threat, because Greater is He that is us than he that is in the world. In this family we are bold.
2. Lions are Sensitive.
John 3vs8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
We are being led by the Spirit of God not flash. Revelation and illumination is granted us for proper direction, timing and understanding. Lions know when their prey is coming, they know when the prey is enclosing, they are at alert. So, also as a child of God, we need to be spiritually Sensitive to be to make use of time.
3. Lions Have authority.
Jer 1vs10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
You cannot belittle the power of a Lion. They are endowed with special authority and honoured that makes them distinguished from among others. Their roar makes other animal to quake. We must understand that we have authority in Christ. According to mark 16 towards ending, the Lord make list of what we are made of.
4. Dependability
" Give us our daily bread"
No man can exist without God, our dependability for food, provision and need see supply by our God. In this family, we depend on God.
5. Strong.
Even though we are gentle as dove, yet we are strong. Each of us is strong that is the devil know that if two of us come together, we will chase 10,000. Lions eat bones, so also we must feed on God's word to be strengthened.
6. They Eat New meat.
There's always a different between a fresh soup and the next day taste. They Eat New bones, this is what fellowship comes in. Many of us rush out in the morning and sleep without receiving the Father's strength. The word of God is new every morning.
7. They Share.
34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
37 Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet. Acts 4vs34-37
They Share together, no one is lacking, they cut it with right proportion.
