4 Types Of People In The Church

1 Timothy  3:15
But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

In a practical church settings, there are 4 types of people. Although, it will either be 3 or 4, but majorly due to the larger body of Christ, you find the whole 4.

1. Matured Believers

Hebrews  5:12
For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

Hebrews  5:14
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

These Believers who have understanding of scriptures and can interpret spiritual codings. They can discern when a pastor is preaching an error or speaking from his mind. They are well trained in the school of the Spirit. You can deceive them. They have their reasons working with the knowledge of God. They can correct a preacher who seems to be "everything" on the altar. Sometimes they keep quiet when a man of God is speaking of Himself, because they know the truth. They are full of the Spirit. Walking in the dimensions of God.

2. Growing Believers.

Romans  14:1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

These are category of believers, who are "growing in the Spirit". They are Scriptures viewers. Whenever they had a new sermon or topics, they go home and study more, to know whether it is true or not. Once they get the truth from God's word, you can beat them to your deception. They are like the Brean's Church who go back to check from the scripture, is this thing right or wrong?

Acts  17:11  These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

3. Baby Believers.

1 Peter  2:2  As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

These set are just new in Christ. They can take in whatever the preacher is saying because they are not yet grounded. They are fit for "milk" not yet bone. They are just new born who needs to be correctly feed and wean, if not it may affect their growth. They can be tossed if they aren't rooted. As they grow in Grace of Christ, they move to step two, till they can discern spiritually. They can argue, because the scripture isn't yet properly born to their spirit. They need to learn and mentored as they learn in the school of the Spirit.

4. Unbelievers.

Acts  16:30  And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

These are category of people who are still in the world. They neither know Christ. They can be religious, and yet lack the revelation of Christ. These set are far away from God. They need to reconcile back to God through His Son.

It is an error to think everybody in the church is born again. In this era that everyone is "born again". It is because they hammer hasn't hit the stone. No more altar call because the church or the preacher lacks the power of God that brings conviction.
These categories are in the church. They need Christ. They come and go, being religious. They need to taste Christ.

Here are 4 Types of People in the church.
Where do you belong?

We are all growing in Grace. We have not yet reached. In this end time where many preachers are out with deception, we must grow in His word to be grounded in Christ.

The word of God is the food for the soul, that ensures our growth in the Spirit.

2 Corinthians  3:18  But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.

Fellowship with the Holy Spirit and Growing in the word are two inseparable tools for our growth as believers.

Shalom.
Blessed?....Do share.
