God the Almighty
Our society is plagued by men and women, youth and teens, including children, who carry within themselves the fruits of dysfunctionality that stem from our society, childhood, and personal consequences, a reflection of the absence of God and of obedience to His word.
As much as we want to feel good from motivational speeches, they don't produce wholeness; the word of God does.
Politics, government, charity organisations, or giveaways cannot fill that vacuum that only God can fill.
Like the Israelites, instead of turning to the Lord, they went to their kings (government). A king cries out because he can't even help himself. We keep running from the One who can save us.
2 Kings 5:7 As soon as the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his robes and said, “Am I God? Can I kill and bring back to life? Why does this fellow send someone to me to be cured of his leprosy? See how he is trying to pick a quarrel with me!”
Our society is deteriorating because we keep removing the knowledge and the fear of God from our vocabulary. Only Jesus can make us heal, whole, and free. Travel to the moon, debate as you want, you'll still come back to submit to His Lordship.
The truth is always hard to swallow, but that's why it is the truth. No government can solve all your needs 100%. No one! Only God is the Almighty. Some trust in horses, but for us, we'll trust in the Lord our God.
